Wow, it’s been SUCH a long time! I’ve had a few emails recently and am always meaning to update my blog- so here I am, updating it.
I’m still running… just. I’ve cut down a lot as I’m now teaching full time and always seem to be busy. I’ve just worked myself back up to 2 mins, am planning on completing a parkrun in a few weeks’ time and will keep it up from there. Determined to get myself back into 10ks because… I have some awesome news…
I lost 3 more stone!
I totally cut carbs out of my diet for a few months and the weight dropped off. So since then I’ve been running and my pace has gone from 14 minute miles to 12 minute miles purely through being lighter!
The fella is bugging me to finish quickly (even though it was him who encouraged me to write again!) so I’ll sign off quickly but I will be back soon! I promise!

I just wanted to say I am really glad you are updating this blog again as I have only just discovered it! I’m my sisters bridesmaid in October so I joined Slimming World in November. A few weeks ago I started going for a walk each day and have enjoyed it, but wanted to set myself a goal. So, today I signed up to the 10K Race For Life. I am so happy I have found your blog, I think it will be very useful for me to relate to as I’m 25
Well done i have just been to Docs with Carpal tunnel in my wrist and she is saying to lose a couple of stone and a friend of mine has started running and is doing so well and has lost her last few pounds so after a google search of running whilst overweight it brought me to your blog. What an inspirational read. Thankyou for sharing your experience. I have downloaded the app and am going to start next week
